As the World Wide Web became more and more popular in the late 1990s, and as more and more of my clients began to request Web copy, I realized that it was time to blend my loves of writing, technology and design. I began taking HTML courses while working at Bentley College in 1998, and then I earned a Master Certificate in Web Development from Clark University in 2001. In addition to building my own Web site six years ago, and redesigning it several times since, I have also created Web sites for the Irish Cultural Centre's Irish Festival, A Feast of Irish Music radio program, the Milton Monument Company, and Second Chance (a site built about an imaginary business, solely for my portfolio). Below is a brief, graphic portfolio of the Web sites that I have built
in recent years. |
